Nursing Director

Position Location: Beachwood

The Nursing Director is responsible for monitoring quality service delivery by nurses to clients of the agency. This position is responsible for assisting in development of program services and monitoring referrals within the program. The Nursing Director will help structure the environment in a way that supports direct care nurses, and represents nursing in meetings and discussion with physicians and other healthcare providers.

The Nursing Director provides clinical and administrative supervision for nurses delivering clinical services. This position also provides leadership and supervisory responsibilities, assuring quality care and compliance with certification and regulatory requirements. Apply clinical skills to improve the care of the Agency’s clients in an increasingly complex healthcare system.

Qualifications:

* Registered Nurse from an accredited nursing school with a valid registered nursing license.
* Preferred five years of experience providing services in the mental health field; prefer supervisory experience.
* Must meet ODMH, ODADAS, and CARF requirements for the provision of clinical services.
 


Nurse (RN or LPN)

The Nurse responsibilities include providing pharmacological interventions to clients with severe and persistent mental illness within the office and/or community setting.

Qualifications:

· Licensure as LPN or RN in the State of Ohio.
· Must have experience in behavioral health nursing or psychiatric care.

Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) Provider

CPSTs provide a wide range of direct and indirect services to consumers with severe and persistent mental illness, including: assessment of strengths, abilities, needs, and preferences; referrals and linkage to resources; advocacy; coordination of services; and assistance with the management of symptoms of psychiatric illnesses. Adherence to client’s rights, confidentiality/HIPAA compliance, health and safety issues, and sensitivity to diverse populations is required. CPST’s promote a recovery-based model for treatment of clients that is reflective of the agency mission statement. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field.

  • LSW or PC licensure preferred.

  • Experience as a CPST preferred.

  • Knowledge of benefits and entitlements such as SSI/SSD, Medicaid and Medicare eligibility preferred.

 


Dual Clinician/Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) Provider

Open Program: AoD/DD
Position Location: Beachwood

Dual Clinician/CPSTs provide a wide range of interventions to clients with substance abuse, mental health issues, and co-occurring disorders within the community setting, including: assessment of strengths, abilities, needs, and preferences; referrals and linkage to resources; advocacy; coordination of services; and assistance with the management of symptoms of psychiatric illnesses. Adherence to client’s rights, confidentiality/HIPAA compliance, health and safety issues, and sensitivity to diverse populations is required. CPST’s promote a recovery-based model for treatment of clients that is reflective of the agency mission statement. 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field.
  • AOD licensure/certification is required.
  • Experience as a CPST preferred.
  • Knowledge of benefits and entitlements such as SSI/SSD, Medicaid and Medicare eligibility preferred.

 


Bilingual Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) Provider

Open Program: Adult SMD
Position Location: West 25th

CPSTs provide a wide range of direct and indirect services to consumers with severe and persistent mental illness, including: assessment of strengths, abilities, needs, and preferences; referrals and linkage to resources; advocacy; coordination of services; and assistance with the management of symptoms of psychiatric illnesses. Adherence to client’s rights, confidentiality/HIPAA compliance, health and safety issues, and sensitivity to diverse populations is required. CPST’s promote a recovery-based model for treatment of clients that is reflective of the agency mission statement. 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field.
  • Candidate must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • LSW or PC licensure preferred.
  • Experience as a CPST preferred.
  • Knowledge of benefits and entitlements such as SSI/SSD, Medicaid and Medicare eligibility preferred.

Counselor

We are seeking qualified, licensed Counselors to provide direct services (counseling and case management) and empower patients to meet every day responsibilities. In this role, the Counselor accepts assignment of cases to provide assessments, counseling/psychotherapy, and community support program services for patients and their families, including: community organizations, schools, other health and social service professionals, the justice system, and other agencies involved with the patient. The Counselor are expected to meet the program's productivity target for billable service each week. Services take place in the office, home and community.

Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
  • License required: LSW or PC. Independent license preferred.
  • Must have a genuine passion to work both in the office as well as in the patient's home and/or community with diverse youth, adolescent and adult clientele.
  • Must meet OhioMHAS and CARF requirements for the provision of clinical services.
  • Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access) and familiarity with the internet and email communications.
  • Experience with mental health, working within a multidisciplinary team, including MD’s, Psychiatrists, Nurses, Healthcare Managers.
 

Psychiatrists / Nurse Practitioners / Physician Assistants

Position Location: Beachwood; West 25th; Cleveland Heights

Currently seeking Board-Certified licensed Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with prescriptive authority to perform advanced outpatient psychiatric work. Populations served include adults and children diagnosed with psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, dementia and other neurodegenerative disorders, dual diagnoses disorders, personality disorders, and persons with intellectual disabilities. Work involves assessing medical history and physiological, psychological, and/or behavioral factors to determine the cause of mental disorders; developing plans for psychiatric treatment and administering appropriate psychiatric measures. Full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Qualifications:
  • MD, DO, CNS, APN, NP, CRNP, or PA.
  • Specialty/experience in psych/mental health.

Peer Support Specialist

The Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPS), while under immediate to general supervision, provides peer support services; serves as a consumer advocate; provides consumer information and peer support for consumers in a variety of settings. The CPS performs a wide range of tasks to support consumers in living their own lives and directing their own recovery and wellness process. The CPS will model competency in recovery and wellness. 
Qualifications:
  • Credentialed as a Certified Peer Specialist preferred.
  • Associates Degree in a Human Services related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a behavioral health work environment.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the local Mental Health System.
  • Must possess basic computer skills to perform job duties including desktop computing, email, time sheet management, electronic health records, using Microsoft Office Applications, ADP and other relevant software.
  • Must have basic electronic communication and internet skills to gather information required for the program or program participants.
  • Must have been in recovery for 5 years and maintains a recovery program.
